Human Resources Department
The Department is currently headed by Ms. Jasinta Akullu, Principle Human Resource Officer
The Department for Human Resource Management is responsible for the development of the Human Resource Management policy for the Hospital and has the following responsibilities
- Compensation
Provides direction, supervision and technical backstopping in respect to compensations. The Department Manages salaries and pensions for the health workers through ensuring prompt processing and payments.
- Human Resource Planning & Development
Oversees the design, development, and implementation of relevant hospital training plans, policies, and programs to meet the training and capacity-building need of the Health workers at the Hospital
- Performance Management
We design, develop, and monitor the implementation of Performance Management Policies/Standards as guided by the Ministry of Public Service. Focus is on Result Oriented Management; Performance Appraisal, Performance Assessment, Performance recognition and Reward and standards setting; The department ensures that the performance management systems in the hospital reflect good practice standards and are implemented consistently by managers to ensure realistic performance at all levels.
